- The Honcho (trip planner): your Sign in with Apple account ID, your first name, and the trip details you enter: trip name, place, dates, deposit amount, and the payment handles you choose to show (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Cash number).
- Amigos: the first name and phone number the Honcho picks from their contacts, plus each amigo's answers: dates, place vote, in or out, and "I paid".
- Secret budget: each amigo's budget pick is stored, but the Honcho only ever sees how many people picked each range, never who picked what.
- Places: listing links, details and one photo per place, stored privately and shown only to that trip.
Honcho AI
When the Honcho uses Honcho AI, what they send goes to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to be read: listing links and the listing page, listing screenshots, the one-sentence trip description, and for room sorting the amigos' first names, the room list and the Honcho's notes. Crop anything private out of screenshots first. Anthropic does not use this to train its models.
Money and texts
Money never goes through Head Honcho. Deposits go straight from amigos to the Honcho with the payment app they choose. Texts are sent from the Honcho's own Messages app.
What we don't do
No ads, no selling or sharing your info, no tracking across other apps or websites. Amigos don't need an account or the app.
Deleting
The Honcho can remove amigos and places in the app. To delete a whole trip or your account, email us and we'll delete it within 30 days.
